About a month ago (I KNOW, I know, I'm SUPER behind on blog posts. I'm sorry!), I posted this on Facebook along with a few images, "Last night, I was fortunate enough to witness a truly amazing experience. I photographed my first, full birth session from start to finish. After almost 24hrs, a 7lb, 19.5," dark haired, absolutely beautiful, baby girl was here! Ruth was incredible, Ryan was incredible - I seriously couldn't believe how much LOVE was in that room. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this special time and congratulations again, you have an absolutely perfect family of 4 now <3"
This is their SECOND little miracle baby and I am so thankful and proud of Ruth for doing such an amazing job during her rough and stressful pregnancy. Ruth had a little more trouble than usual, due to her heart condition - which includes a pacemaker she credits to saving her life a few years ago after their first child, Kensington was born. She was advised it would be a risk if they tried for another, but along came Adalyne. During this pregnancy, Ruth wasn't able to take any of her heart medication. I honestly cannot even begin to describe how amazing this experience was and how great we all felt when we learned everything was going to be okay and little Adalyne was ready to arrive! Ruth is such an amazing mother, and Ryan, an amazing father.
I also had the pleasure of photographing Adalyne's in-home newborn session, which will be up soon and OH MY WORD - this little girl is seriously gorgeous. She will steal anyone's heart at first glace, and this is her birth story! I can't wait to photograph every one of her special moments to come!
Love you all xoxo
